After choosing a charity organisation, you can donate by selecting the cryptocurrency of your choice and using the provided wallet address. When sending your donation make sure you enter the correct amount in the selected currency.

We support a variety of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Solana (SOL), Tron (TRX) and over 1000 more on 200+ blockchains and 2nd layer networks. The complete list gets updated every hour and will be shown during the donation process.

Mostly yes, but it depends on the tax laws in your country. In many countries, donations to charitable organizations are tax-deductible. Please consult your tax advisor to ensure your donation is deductible.

Yes, we use secure blockchain technology to ensure your transaction is transparent and traceable. Your donation is transferred from your wallet directly to the charity’s exchange account.
To support a wide range of assets, we also use external exchanges that forward the donation in ‘stablecoins’ to the charity’s account.

If you do not wish to disclose personal information, you can choose to do so when making your donation.

For donations over a value of one thousand USD/EUR, your name and email are required.

If you’d like to donate a value of ten thousand USD/EUR or more, a full proof of funds is required to ensure the charity can use and withdraw your donation at any time.

No, there is no general minimum donation amount as this depends on the current exchange, asset, and network.
For charities that hold Bitcoin, it is often possible to donate as little as a single Satoshi via Lightning. Other assets may have higher limits or less favorable rates on smaller amounts.
In case you have a small amount on an exchange it might be more effective to exchange into BTC (lightning) or a ‘stablecoin’ before donation.
As crypdonate is currently connected to 25+ exchanges our rates should always be great!

For sure each exchange into fiat money needs some fee to be paid to the provider and for withdrawal also.

As you enter the amount to donate you will see the exact fee amount and the final amount the charity will receive.

Cryptocurrency transactions are usually irreversible once confirmed. Therefore, please make sure all information is correct before making your donation. Refunds are not possible.
